Andhra Pradesh Police Department will conduct four rounds to select candidates for SI & RSI post as given below :
- Preliminary Written Test
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Final Written Examination
At First, candidate will get called for preliminary written examination. Candidates who qualify in Prelims Written Exam will get applicable to attend Physical measurement Test (PMT). After qualify in PMT, aspirants will get allowed to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Applicants will get called for Final Written Examination which followed by previous three rounds.

AP Police Exam Pattern 2018 For Preliminary exam – AP Police SI Exam Syllabus 2018
In Preliminary exam, there will be two Papers i.e. Paper-I and II. The Preliminary Exam Paper will consist of subjects i.e. Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning, Mental Ability And General Studies. The overall Preliminary exam will be of 200 marks. Duration of each test in preliminary exam is 3 hours. Each part will contain total 100 objective type questions. - Height : Not less than 167.6 CM
- Chest : Not less than 86.3 CM round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
Women :
- Height : Must not be less than 152.5 Cm.
- Weight : Must not be less than 40 Kg.
